"Botanicals In Blue, No. 6" Framed Mixed Media Original, 11x14 inches

This piece is a delightful celebration of nature (my muse), and rooted in play. Weaving together the ethereal beauty of cyanotype photography, the deep allure of indigo, the rich depth of pigment, the dramatic strokes of charcoal, and the soft embrace of pastels. When I say ‘rooted in play,’ I really mean it. I just let myself mix mediums and fall into delight and it shows. I love this medium because the pigments react to each other so organically I can only stand back and admire.
