Quiet Adventure, II: Lush Fields
Whenever I see a field that is truly lush and untouched and full of growth, my heart dances a little. I remember driving through Kansas, through one of the last true prairies in the US, feeling honored to be there. I tried to bring that feeling to this painting — the specialness of each wild grass, the ecosystem tucked within.
8x10x2.5, this oil painting is nearly 3-dimensional with its wide profile. It can stand on a shelf or be hung by a small nail. Please note, there is a small area of the canvas that has been stressed a bit (lower right-hand corner). The painting is fully protected and not damaged at all (the canvas was stressed prior to painting). Price reflected.
