"Meet Me On The Other Side" A Vertical Canvas Print
Meet Me On The Other Side is a line from two poems I’ve written — the piece that grounds this collection and another poem I wrote in 2018 focused on the guiding force of motherhood. Both speak so strongly to me because that line seems to be a request and a promise. What a beautiful thing to be able to ask that of another person (or yourself) and also to be able to promise that, yes— you will be there after the hard thing. This painting feels like that to me — a promise of hope to come. Meet me on the other side. There is beauty there, too. And we will be together.
